For this exercise I have to create three images showing the link between a subject and their surroundings. I had originally wanted to approach my neighbours, two academics, a scientist and a linguist; and an artist and ask if I could photograph them at their places of work. Exercise 2.2- Covert (P.64)

Closely consider the work of the practitioners discussed above, then try to shoot a series of five portraits of subjects who are unaware of the fact they are being photographed. The five photographers mentioned in the introduction to this to exercise, Walker Evans, Philip-Lorca diCorza, Lukas Kuzma, Martin Parr and Tom Wood; all adopted different approaches to capture covert images.
