I’ve come across the name Ed Ruscha a few times and am aware of his books Twentysix Gasoline Stations and Every Building on the Sunset Strip but did not know much more about him. This short film commissoned by the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) is a whirlwind look at his work, particularly his painting, and gives a good idea of the breadth of the work he has produced over sixty years. I think is a good start point for further research into his art.
