Having thought about my second shortlist of eight images I have decided to discard the following three images.

I have decided to discard this image as the man’s eyes are not visible.

In this image the burnt out high-lights on the man’s head was the reason I decided to discard it.

Although I like this image, and particluarly the movement the man’s angle implies, ultimately it is too out of focus.

My final set of five images are set out below.
